Re: Magloire and the sound of silence
It isn't that hard to understand.
Mags is a cyborg/android/robot/mutant thingy from the planet Zyxlphil. Everytime he is traded, they have to reprogram him. It is a very delicate process. One mistake and Mags will be on top of the KOIN tower gnawing on the skull of some reporter who asked the wrong question.
Personaly, I would pay to see that.......but I am probably in the minority.
OTOH, maybe it's just the off-season, and he has other things to do. Maybe he is an old-fashioned sort who lets his on-court performance do the talking.

Given his history with the Bucks, I think he is vocal off the court as well.

There was the story that came out here, with a few quotes from Steve, mostly saying he was disappointed. If someone really wants to know what's going on, send an email to Kevin Pritchard or Mike Barrett. They'll probably have an idea of why we haven't heard from Jamaal yet.

Can't a team waive the physical? I thought that was a rule.

Re: Magloire and the sound of silence
The Blazer web site has him to promiently featured for me to think he is being shopped. But stranger things have happened in Blazerland. I'm sure of it.
Almost like there may be a major trade yet to come though. Yeah, that is it, I am sure of it.
Thats my opinions anyway.
On the other hand we haven't seen anything on Ha or Skinner either?
Why? Major Mystory.
One of the busiest summers in a long time and we don't have anything to talk about. Wow. At least I filled up this non-informing post without saying anything.

Jamaal will probably say something at his press conference too.
I don't know about the physical part but I'd think if there were a deadline or any type of problem we would have heard of it by now.

Re: Magloire and the sound of silence
How can we be sure it will really be Magloire on the radio though? An organization capable of pretending John Nash was GM for 3 years is entirely capable of faking a radio interview. Most likely they've put Jamaal into a coma, or have him tied up in a basement somewhere. Do not underestimate what these people will do. Bob Whitsitt is still running this show, make no mistake.

Since Paul has renewed his interest in the Team I believe he probably can use some of his money to use the CIA to check the tapes of the broadcast and let us know if it is Magloire or Osma. Money talks, or so I have heard.

The extra "a" is for "absent".
