Yeah, I want to believe Barrett but it seems fishy to me. At best, someone can't manage to check schedules, etc. However, given the extent of the silence, it seems more like Magloire is somewhere between grumpy and holding out, with the Blazers perhaps now scrambling to pull off a deal before it gets more clear there's a problem.

I recognize that's alarmist and fairly unlikely -- I'm thinking of it as worst case. The trouble though is that I doubt we're the only ones thinking about that and it seems so easy for Magloire to put all that to rest, even with a printed statement. The Blazers can't be happy about how this has gone so far, even if it is all reasonable.
