Re: OT - Favorite Blazer Days!
i loved us being the jailblazers...my favorite time to be a blazer fan was during then. with sheed, pippen, sabonis...those years. the good ones.
i like the bad guy, and we were one of those teams in the nba that had a notorious rep for a period..
cheaaaaaaaa cheaaaaaaa.
1992 was crazy, dont get me wrong. my uncle was friends with quite a few players on that squad. duckworth was my hero, haha, i went to his crib once. jerome kersey was at my aunts bday party, i met cliffy robinson...
but i liked the late 1990's till about 2003. after that we fell apart.

Re: OT - Favorite Blazer Days!
Late 80's early 90's..... Drexler/Porter/Kersey era
you knew it was special when it started.... and it was...
Kind of like now... you have an invigorance of youth with talent... will they gel? will they be kept together?
we need a few more pieces.. but yes.. it has the makings of something special.
The Championship... I watched it live.... it was very very special. Remember it like it was yesterday!
Watching Kiki play his 1st game and score LOTS of points...
Watched live.... Billy Ray bates miracle shot against Philly
Having season tickets for over a decade... saw lots of top 50 players play
Paxson, Petrie days
oh soo many memories

Re: OT - Favorite Blazer Days!
My most memorable games -- (don't remember the dates, just the moments).
First --
Against the Detroit Pistons in the finals, when Laimbeer hit like 6 3PTers or something and the Blazers narrowly beat the Pistons, maybe it was Game 2.
Second --
When Pippin hit a 3 pointer in the Rose Garden to finish the Utah Jazz in Game 5 or 6 to push the Blazers into the WCF, where... well we know the rest. I was actually at that game, and the Rose Garden was going crazy. It was the loudest I have ever heard that place.
Third --
The Memorial Day Miracle -- where Stacey Augmon gambles for the steal, Sean Elliot hits a 3 pointer over the outstretched hands of Rasheed Wallace, with the back of his feet hovering over the sideline. IIRC -- Damon missed a freethrow that would have at least secured OT.

I was very close to the floor that game and I have to agree...the Rose Garden has never been louder. It was crazy mad, and then Byron Russell complained about missing the free throws because the hoop was shaking. Good times.
