Re: How many?

Webster, I agree with you. I personally like going to the games better, just because you get to see the players live, but I think being with the crowd gives it a whole nother feel. I mean I like watching games on TV, but being there is soooo much better.

Does anyone have season tickets? If so where are they located?

Re: How many?

I've been thinking for a while about maybe, in the OT forum or something, stating who will be going to the game, and meeting up. If anyone likes the idea of getting cheap $10 tickets, we could just meet at the ticket office at a set time before the game, and get tickets together in the nosebleeds.

Maybe, if this sounds like a good idea to you, PM me and I'll add you to a list and I'll just message you about which games me and MAS and any number of friends are going to. Then we can just keep in correspondance about who wants to meet for what games.

MAS and I usually decide on our games early in the season. Anyway, I think it would be great to get a couple more die hard fans by our side. Let me know if you are interested, maybe I'll make a group in my sig.

I agree there is nothing like a live game. Especially a good game which there wasn't a lot of last year. The 6th game of the Dallas playoff series when we got down 0-3 and came back to tie it 3-3 is one of my best all time experiences. The crowd was electric and the team fed off of it. I actually take credit for the come back. While our team warm up before game 4 I kept yelling at them to show some heart, to not give up. Obviously they listen to me.

I'm only a half season ticket holder but I sit right where the blinking handicap icon is on the seating map. And I don't mean just in that section but just about that exact spot.

Re: How many?

I'll go to a few, but the cost/benefit doesn't work out well for me. Without considering expense,
I'd rank the enjoyment of a blazer game thusly:

Good: Cheap seats, no food and drink, mass transit to Rose Garden
Better: Watch at home on TV
Best: Good seats, food and drink, parking at the Rose Garden

But Best is pretty expensive, so when cost is considered I generally opt for the boob tube.

Re: How many?

Our season tickets are in Section 118 this year, maybe 8 rows up from the floor.

Wow, those sound like sweet seats. Behind the basket, right?

The best seats I've ever had on a regular basis are the very back of the 200 level. I liked them, though.

I'm torn between getting a whole bunch of lousy seats, and going to just one or two games and getting really good seats. I don't have the money to go to a whole bunch with really good seats.

Yeah, not right behind the basket, but we are around there. We moved from last season when we were at Section 107, but like the same exact seats. Now we can look right to our left and see the Blazers on the bench and we got a row lower.

I definitely reccommend finding a friend, and going in half season with them. My dad had full season when we were good, but have gotten half season since we started rebuilding.

Re: How many?

once a year. I live in the bay area and usually go to one blazer warrior game. I do buy league pass, so I get to see maybe 70 games a year on tv.

Re: How many?

I made it to 40 last year and will do my best to get them all this time around. Hopefully I'll leave the Garden in a good mood more often this year. Our season tickets are in the front row of 311 and for the price they're good seats.

Re: How many?

I only missed two games last year. The first one was the ice storm game that I tried to make but when it took two hours to go from the I-5/I-205 junction to the Lake Oswego exit and the game was at halftime I turned around. The second was when I HAD to go to Seattle for the NFC championship game causing me to miss the Mavs game we lost in OT.
This year I went with a half season due to traveling costs. I have Plan A and my friend MGB has plan B. We are going to go to the East games together so we can pick up some extra games. When I go with him I get to sit in his 200 level seats and I have to exchange mine for handicapped seats hopefully in the 200 level. When I am not with MGB I will be sitting in section 314 row B seats 3-4. I had Row A last year but they keep the front row for full season.
So, if anybody wants some tickets call my man Jarrod at the Blazers office.

If your looking for me, my seats are 1,2 and 3 on my couch in the living room. I'll watch all 82!
