How many?

How many Blazer games do you go to a season?

I usually get to around 20 games a season. Hoping once I get my license that I will be able to go to more.

Re: How many?

My wife and I got a ten pack last year and went to another 5 or so games so 15ish.

This year I got a half season package for two seats. A friend of mine also got a half season pack. We are each taking the opposite plan so we can take each other to the east games missing from our packs. That way we should be able to see every team we play.

So I'll be going to at least 30 games. I'm excited about going to so many games because I think this should be a entertaining year!

Re: How many?

I don't really get to go to any......(lowers head in shame)...
I have been to only 3 games......so far. For the past 4 years or so, I have been your classic poor college participant, and of course, this leaves no extra money for basketball games and such. Added on to this is the fact that I haven't lived in Portland for any of this stretch (except for a 3 month stint that ended in a coked-out roommate selling all of my stuff, let's not talk about that).
However, I shall be moving back up to Portland in a couple of months, so I am guessing I shall make more appearances live. Hopefully this time, things work out better...hehe

by the way, I saw my first Blazer game as a result of the first esp/bbbnet prediction game that had a monthly prize....although I won it from the espn board(something I took pride in at the time). I must thank gramps for that again.

Re: How many?

Every year it's less.

I used to have season tickets but stopped going because I was so busy.

Last year I saw the opener against the Hawks, the Lakers and the Heat. I thought it was a pretty good summary of the season.

Re: How many?

I usually go to 5-8 games in a season but this year it might be less because I am looking at quiting my job and going back to school.

I enjoy watching the Blazers play live, but I actually think I enjoy watching them on TV more, especially when I plan a poker game at the same time. Sit around with a bunch of friends, drinking beer, eating peta and hummus (or some other snack), and watching the game pals. When the final 5 minutes roll around, the poker game comes to a halt, everyone gathers around the idiot box, leans to the right together, then the left, all at once a chorus of "that was a damn foul" or "his toe was on the line" or some other gripe about the officiating. If the blazers lose, everyone complains to each other for a moment, then we go back to playing poker and let the loss fade away. If the Blazers win, it's celebration time with a bunch of buddies, nothing better then that in life.

Re: How many?

in the last 5 years, i've gone to probably 5 games in portland. but i did make it to the game in eugene this year against the jazz, the game three years ago against the kings i think, and 5 years ago against i forget who in corvallis its been that long.

now that i'm living in portland, i'll most likely go more, but like mcvillian said, it's funner to watch games with friends at home.

Re: How many?

It is fun to watch the games at home. You get alot of looks and angles of plays that you wouldn't be able to see at the game. Plus they always play those stupid video clips on the jumbotron. Like godzilla clapping, or ZBO in a mexican poncho and sombrero. What's up with that?

I try to catch at least 10 every year. Probably will go to more this year depending on my school schedule.

Re: How many?

I went to the Sonics pre-season game last year (for free) and again against the Lakers. I'd go to as many games as possible if I had a few friends that were as big of a die-hard as I am. But alas, most of my friends regard my rabid devotion with general indifference.
