I picked up the Sporting News' yearly Basketball preview yesterday and immediately went to anything Blazer related. Here are some interesting parts:

• Power Poll: "30. Trail Blazers. A great draft night should give Blazer fans something to cheer for. Eventually."

• On Darius Miles: "He's got his money, as he'll gladly tell you. Perhaps he should use some of it to buy a position or, even better, a jump shot"

• Draft Day Winners: Blazers - "They added talent, youth and -for a franchise that has been repeatedly embarrassed by its players, this is curcial - character. The team will struggle this season, but it finally has a foundation."

• One "expert" picked Roy to win ROY. Morrison got 2 votes, Gay 1 and Foye 1.

• Projected Starters: Magloire, Randolph, Miles, Roy, Jack

• Grades: Coach B+, Guards D+, Forwards C+, Centers C

• Safest Blazer for fantasy hoops: Brandon Roy, "who dominated summer league play."

I figured we could use some more Blazer discussion
