Why we should dump Zach
Here's perhaps the best reason.
This trade works: Zach, Miles and Raef for the one-year contracts of Mo Taylor and Jalen Rose. Then WE can give them the buyouts they want.

Re: Why we should dump Zach
While I am all for dumping Zbo remember all we would be guaranteed would be a 1/4 shot at Mr. Oden.

Hey, Joakim Noah is a nice consolation prize. Or Al Horford, come to that.

Not a Noah fan myself...certainly wouldn't mind a good pick in what will likely be a fairly good draft though.

or Kevin Durant, or Thadeus Young, or Spenser Hawes....hell we already have 1/2 the city of Seattle in our organization, why not another, or Brandon Wright or Julian Wright.
Any of those players would be a welcomed edition to this roster.....on paper

Noah played well for 3 weeks and all of a sudden he's the real deal. I'm not a fan of him and we better not pick him up!

Re: Why we should dump Zach
Even if Portland plays their respective butts off with Zach and Darius, we'll still have a pretty good shot at a good pick in next year's draft.
It's important this year that Nate and the players experience a degree of success. Dumping guys that will help them to a few extra winning experiences wouldn't be prudent, IMO.

Couldn't of said it better myself.

I disagree. I don't think it will shatter the players' confidence to lose a few more games, and I think the deleterious effects of playing with selfish ballhogs who slow down the offense and don't play defense would be much worse. About Zach's only laudable feature is the effort he shows in rebounding, but somebody like Hector Romero could duplicate that for much less, and without the annoying habit of demanding the ball every time he steps inside the opponents' half.
I actually have less of a problem with Miles, except for his *****ly personality and indifferent effort. But at least he doesn't need quite as many shots, has been known occasionally to play defense, and can run the floor a little.

Re: Why we should dump Zach
Will somebody prove to me that Randolph actually helps us win games? Don't just ASSUME it (because you know what that does), prove it. There are plenty of stat sites out there that keep track of things like that, so consider that a challenge.

While I certainly don't doubt that, that in itself is hardly a ringing endorsement of the prior claim.
(And it's couldn't HAVE.)
