I think the Laker dynasty hinges on whether Phil Jackson returns or desides to retire due to his health. Shaq has said many times that if Phil retires so will he.

I'd say the dynasty officially ended Thursday when they lost to the Spurs.

As far as the team goes, there's absolutely no chance of them deciding not to bring back Shaq, Kobe and Phil next season. So the core group of the "dynasty" will still be there. I really don't think they've got a shot at the title next year though. Shaq and Kobe can't do it by themselves and they've only got the 4.5 to bring on new guys. It's just not enough.
