Z-Bo Lawsuit(s) -- Round II
From: PDX Tribune
Quote:
$300,000 lawsuit filed last month against Portland Trail Blazers forward Zach Randolph and former teammate Qyntel Woods claims that the two players and others assaulted and harassed a Northeast Portland man for more than two years, calling him a “snitch” and a “***** dog” in connection with dogfighting allegations against Woods..................
................A MySpace.com page belonging to someone who calls himself “KK” is saturated with “Hoop Family” references — tattoos and diamond necklaces that spell out “Hoop Family,” a poster for a summer “Hoop Family” party put on by “Big Z-Bo Entertainment,” a reference to Randolph’s nickname.
The page also contains a photograph of Randolph standing with a friend beside a tricked-out car.
KK’s page also purports to be an illustration of the “Hoop Family” lifestyle, with prominent photos of money and expensive cars, and video of rump-shaking women.
Everything related to the “Hoop Family” revolves around the famous basketball player, according to the lawsuit. And where he leads, they follow, the suit asserts.

Real credible claims.
The plaintiff is a wannabe rapper. According to his OWN LAWYER, he lied to cops and a grand jury about the events covered by the lawsuit. Now, when he actually has a motive to lie, (ie $$$$) we are all supposed to believe he is telling the truth?

God damn. These lawsuits are pretty flimsy, but Zach is doing something seriously retarded to keep putting himself in a position for people to make these money grabs.

It's a sensible, conservative approach that has worked for me in the past.

Re: Z-Bo Lawsuit(s) -- Round II
I think it's time for Zach to divorce himself from the rest of the "Hoop Family". They are a bunch of leeches. They only hang around him for one thing - his money. When sharing that money generously and willingly isn't enough, they start suing him for more. He needs to realize these people aren't his friends. If he didn't have an 80-something million dollar contract, they'd just as soon stab him in the back and steal his wallet - which is essentially what they are trying to accomplish in a slightly more civilized manner with these lawsuits. Hopefully, this will be enough for Zach to realize he needs to get away from these scumbags for good. They only want one thing from him and will stop at nothing to get it.

Not to derail the thread, but I just wanted to say Zach is looking pretty sharp in that picture up there. The hair and little goatee suit him. Looks less... apelike, when he's got that shaved head and face.

I recognize all those guys on that Myspace. They're always hanging around the Garden acting like punks.
I'm kind of confused though, is it KK who is filing the lawsuit against Z-Bo?

No kidding. When a quote from your own lawyer starts out: “ Though my client’s credibility is shot to hell by what he did...", you know your suit is pretty much baseless and without merit.
I'm guessing he's just hoping Zach will fork over some cash to make him shut up and go away. This guy's suit is a nuisance and a distraction - exactly that kind of thing Zach doesn't need - especially with the other suit he's facing. This is just a case of piling on by an opportunistic money grabber and his sleazy lawyer trying to get something for nothing.

Regardless, I still have SERIOUS troubles with the activites of this, so-called, Hoop Family. Z-Bo needs to grow up and ditch these punk. gold digging wannabes.
