Should we start a Spanish Thread?
I love all the new Spanish posters who have joined to follow their countryman, Sergio Rodriguez. I want to encourage more Sergio fans to follow the Blazers and thought a sticky thread (permanent) in Spanish might be useful. Of course anyone could post in the thread and all the Spanish posters would also be encouraged to post in all the other threads as well, but this might allow fans who do not speak English to follow Sergio and the Blazers.
I do not speak Spanish but would be happy is someone who does could translate this thread for anyone who is not fluent in English.

Re: Should we start a Spanish Thread?
That's a nice idea for our Spanish audience. My spanish on the other hand is a little bit worse than terrible. I just listen for my name (jk)

Re: Should we start a Spanish Thread?
I would miss the Spanish posters if they all congregated in Spanish-only threads, and if that caused them to no longer talk to us non-Spanish speakers.
However at the same time, I think your suggestion that Spanish speakers who are less comfortable with English (or who don't speak/write it) just go ahead and post here in Spanish is a good one, Nate.

"I love all the new posters"
Posters came out as decorative or advertising posters, not people posters.

I agree. I'd like to see them post in the regular threads and we can have translations if necessary. Most of their English is good enough, it's certainly better than a few other "English" posters here...

I'm with yakbladder, I think it's great having all the Spanish fans posting here. If you want to post in Spanish feel free but I hope you still post your thoughts in English for the rest of us. I think we're communicating really well and the "English only" posters (like me) understand you just fine.

Sounds like people are pretty happy with how things are at the moment. Either way, it's nice to not only have posters who speak Spanish, but also they know a lot more about euro basketball then I do. When the draft comes, their input will be very welcome.
