Re: Im Sick Of The Losing!
you're sick of losing? there's no cure in sight for you. at least, not this year.
enjoy watching our young guys grow together. losing be damned. i think that's the healthier approach.

Roy, maybe. but aldridge, i think is going to be a star in this league. he has the fundamentals down and some.

Re: Im Sick Of The Losing!
On a brighter note, the Blazers do have more wins than Phoenix, Minnesota, Chicago, Washington and Miami.
They have the same amount of wins as Dallas, Philly, Indiana and Detroit.
Although I don't expect the pace to keep up, this team is finally suffering the effects of the injuries. Joel and Brandon are needed, desperately right now.

roy needs to rest until his heel heals completely. if need be, shave that bone off. i don't think we will, but i hope we don't rush him back. he's too valuable to our future to try to savage a feel games this season.

don't want to add vets to get to the 8th seed. I wanted to see this team, fully healthy make it like I know they can.
Also, theres no way BRoy is a complimentary player..he's the new face of this franchise and can do it all really..and the sky's the limit for LA.

I think they can be competitive, but there's no way they're ready for the playoffs this year. No way.

They're complimentary players in the same way that Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili are complementary to Tim Duncan.
I think LA and Roy have what it takes to be amazing basketball players. But the fact is, the guy we get in the draft this summer will be better.

Re: Im Sick Of The Losing!
People underestimate the potential this team has. LA and Roy are going to be all-stars, and the way Zach is playing makes him an all star this season. .We are simply to young and mistake prone to be very good this season. Give us a Oden or Durant this draft and we will be a top 4 Western team in 2 or 3 seasons.

Re: Im Sick Of The Losing!
The frustration is easy to understand.
Roy gets off to a very good start - then gets hurt.
LaMarcus looks good, but is still trying to catch up after missing time to injury himself.
Meanwhile, our second year players (Jack and Webster) are showing zero improvement. Last season, they showed just enough to get our hopes up - which makes their current struggles all the harder to bear.
The last point is the one that is sticking in my craw. How could we have been so wrong about *both* of them?

I agree, but only in the aggregate. I think Jack has improved; Martell has, um, disproved? ... deteriorated, I guess. Add them together and you get a net zero improvement.
