Im Sick Of The Losing!
Maybe we should have just lost a couple at the start that we won, because like my normal self, got my hopes up and now its hard to watch them play. Man this losing is getting to me...Roy get back...because I don't think we are going to win on the road without him. Seriously..as I am typing this we are getting blown out by a HORRENDOUS team. Don't mean to sound negative, but I just want this team to win so badly, it was so much fun earlier this year and now its the same..the season is only for the NBA LOTTO....

Re: Im Sick Of The Losing!
This team is horrendous right now. Zach is our only real player. Roy makes everyone look so much better, but by themselves, guys like Dixon, Martell and Outlaw have their weaknesses exposed big-time. Then of course, you have summer league YMCA scrubs like Graham and Udoka getting major minutes.

Get used to it, The Blazers Suck.
The good news is that they will get a lot better over the next two years. You just cant expect much from young players.
Oden or Durant

Sick of it? 10 games in and you're already sick of it?
Get over it.

Re: Im Sick Of The Losing!
Ya, what do you expect on the road, 3rd game in four nites, playing short handed? I'm surprised it was only a 6 point game with 2:30 in the 3rd.

The Blazers will pick up a bit when Roy returns. They are short a lot of horses right now.

Re: Im Sick Of The Losing!
Un b leave able.
The Blazers were going to be bad anyway, but take away their center, a rookie who's the favorite for ROY, and backup center, put them on the road for 4 games in 5 nights and what did you think was going to happen?

Sorry MAS, but you better find another hobby for the next 11 months. We're still a bad team, especially without Roy and Joel out there. There's no sense in moaning about it for the next 5 months or we'll all be driven crazy.

Re: Im Sick Of The Losing!
Losses are hard to take, and thats actually a good thing that you don't like losing. I just hope the Blazers feel the same way, come out and try to make that stop happening

Just so you know, Durant and Oden are expected to be in the superstar category in a few years. That's how freaking good they are.
At the end of the year, even if we rushed Roy back and had picked up a good guard free agent last summer, we'd still be watching the draft lottery special hoping for the best. And if they somehow pulled off 35-40 wins this year I think a lot of us, knowing how good this class of prospects are, would wish somewhere deep inside that we had lost a few more games.
If you want to enjoy this Blazers team, try to remember what the drexler era felt like, then multiply that by 2. Because that's what the Blazers management, and Paul Allen, are attempting to do. Sure you can pick up a few vets and maybe shoot for the 8 seed, but you lose out on building a core through the draft that will last a long time.
Aldridge and Roy are going to be really good, but you know what? They're going to be complementary players to the guy we get this summer. Seriously.
With the other guys like Travis Outlaw, Martell Webster, and Jarrett Jack, they still need another year of heavy minutes to learn the ins and outs of the league. But there are a lot of positives with those guys. Travis Outlaw can jump over most people in the league. Did you see that blocked dunk that was powered in the other night? And Sergio, sheesh. He eliminated the only downside of that Roy deal: losing Telfair. All he needs now is some polish on his jumper, which I'm sure he'll work on, and defenders are going to piss their shorts every time down the floor. Martell is 19. He's going to suck for periods this year, and then he's going to show flashes of the sharpshooter that he'll become. Fortunately, he has more passion than most of the guys in the NBA this year and a sweet stroke.
