Re: How about a game thread?
they didn't get their 11th win till the 35th game of the year (which was the start of 4 straight wins).
so we're 10 games ahead of last years pace (if my math is right).

It's tough to find minutes for LaMarcus when Zach's playing nearly 40+ of the 48 mins at the PF spot.
And at the C spot, there's Jamaal and Joel. One of them is being showcased and the other just signed a big contract.
LaMarcus will see his time eventually. The guy is only 25 games into his NBA career.

Re: How about a game thread?
Outlaw continues to grow before our eyes...maybe we should jsut hold out that he'll be the sf/pf hybird of the future. We shouldn't rush into a deal for Shard or RJeff...I really think Outlaw is going to continue to play more consistent.

Re: How about a game thread?
travis made that heady play at the end of the 3rd was great to see. guy's definately learning and improving, albeit slower than most of us would probably like to see.

Re: How about a game thread?
About Travis, according to Quick, there's no way the Blazers will be able to re-sign him after this season.
I would hate to see that after investing so many years in him, then to see him just flourish some place else. Travis is finally coming to play with a little more consistency.
I hope the team can keep him one way or another.

Re: How about a game thread?
Best game of the year, hands down.
Portland is in a unique opportunity to trade from a position of strength to pick up a player that could help them get to the next tier of success AND get their second best player back... in the same week.
Let's hit the ground running.

I listened to the Quick chat this week and the entire pregame show. He never said that.
Where are you getting your information?

Re: How about a game thread?
Quick mentioned something about 6 oclock when I was on my break at work. Does Trav really hate in here or whats going on? I am very hesitant to believe a lot of what comes out of quicks mouth. Anyways, I hope we can resign Outlaw, but after what happened with Miles I wouldn't break the bank for him even though hes one of my faves.

I think MAS heard the same thing. Quick mentioned it on the FAN pregame thing when he was on at 6.
Unless my ears were deceiving me, I thought I heard Quick say that but never said why.
