Oh I am a horrible speller. No doubt about it. I didn't realize I mispelled Possition though that's depressing. Possitive is another one I thought I knew....God I rely too much on spell check.
I, along with a few others give him a hard time because we have pointed out to him several times that it's Holmes, not Homes.

Don't take it too hard -- we've all got our blind spots. That said, you might want to take your spell-checker into the shop if it's been giving you a false positive, as it were.

Yeah I've... noticed. And if it were me, I'm not sure that I wouldn't stubbornly dig my heels in and stick with "homes" or "homey," (the latter of which actually is in dictionary.com), and I do care about trying to spell things correctly. If I didn't (or simply didn't care as much) I'd probably blow you off and simply leave you enough rope to, well, come off as obnoxious?
Just my 2 cents.

1 s in positive huh???? Now that I know that I will correct it. So thanks Homes
You need to understand that I am obnoxious though. I mean look at all my Nate and Zach bashing I do. I mean I'm right, but obnoxious none the less.

Fair enough, MM. And while we're on it, while I'm not sure they need to all be one word to be correct, it's generally nonetheless.
As for the homes vs. holmes thing, I guess I mostly wanted to get clear about your goal and I am now -- obnoxiousness must prevail!
Oh yeah, and Roy is pretty clutch. Sorry Wastro et al.

LOL yes sorry wastro. Roy is an absolute stud. Anyone else ever felt more comfortable with a guy taking an off ballanced fade away? The guy is so smooth. It's fun to hear the other announcers constantly gushing about him.

Right! I had so thanks for the reminder. I wonder if any of these guys (I'm sure there's more than just those two, though perhaps not a lot more) will "man-up" enough to eat their words, presuming Roy keeps playing this well or better. Honestly if he doesn't get any better than he's been this week (which seems unlikely as he's said to be a hard worker and he's just played what, his 20th regular season NBA game?) Ainge still has egg on his face. Bad-mouthing him during that broadcast only makes it worse, imo. Better to just admit that he may've misjudged Roy.

Ainge won't. He really can't. I mean he traded away Brandon Roy for a third string PG and Theo Ratliff. I get that Raef has one more year on his bad contract than ratliff, but will that really make a difference in the big picture? It comes down to Roy for Telfair, and right now that looks like a God awful trade for the Celts.

Doesn't he have to at some point, though? Otherwise it's like insisting that the world actually is flat after all, especially if Roy not only grabs R.O.Y. but goes on to something like Wade status? Really it just seems like a matter of time before Ainge needs to eat some crow and the longer he waits the worse it's gonna be.
Heck, MM, even you have stooped to giving Nate credit for a few things. Is Ainge going to insist that every shot that goes in is luck?

He'll never own it. He'll play it like a politician until he's fired, which should be before the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Telfair is still singing the same old song:

Roy's shooting 39% from beyond the arc this month!

Over 50% the last 8 games, if I counted correctly the other day.

Because on occasion Nate is doing what I've been screaming for him to do all year. Run and play the young guys. Just so happens we've won those games.
