Stephen Graham, who played the first two-plus months of the season for the Blazers, was named to the first NBA Development League All-Star Game that will be held during the NBA All-Star Game weekend.
Graham, who plays for the Sioux Falls Skyforce, was selected to the Eastern Division team by a vote that included fans and coaches. He will be joined by Will Conroy, a former University of Washington product and one of Brandon Roy's best friends. Conroy is on a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, but while playing for the Tulsa 66ers, he led the D-League in assists.
Conroy, by the way, spent his early childhood in Portland before moving to Seattle when he was 6.
The Western Division team includes Pooh Jeter, the former University of Portland standout who now plays for the Colorado 14ers. Kevinn Pinkney, who played on the Blazers summer league team in July and now plays for the Bakersfield Jam, will join Jeter.
The D-League All-Star Game will be played the Saturday of All-Star weekend at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
