I say, for basketball purposes, that we make Australia an honorary member of the European Union.
But even so you can't really call Bogut a Euro Big man. He did spend 3 years in our college system.

Well um mr CrackerJack Bogut is Croatian. And surprisingly that IS in Europe. Yes I know he is technically Austrailian (born there), but his mother and father were Croatian immigrants. He is 100% European. Maybe it's not I who needs to do his homework.

Bogut would be a nice pickup but I'm not sure if I'd want to give up our pick for him. I agree with the Brad Miller comparisons, not in skill set but in terms of worth as a player. Bogut is a solid center but he is not great and LMA won't be out of position at center. There aren't huge dominant centers anymore, its basically all 4's playing the 5 spot in today's NBA.

Are you serious? It doesn't matter where his parents are from. Bogut was born in Australia, he grew up in Australia, and he went to school in Australia. He played ball in Utah, not Europe. How in the world does that = 100% European? Bogut is more than just "technically" Australian, he IS Australian.
By your math, we're practically all European.
