Re: Trade Talk - Jack, Battier

Does no one remember that this was a trade Quick was talking about in his chat on Thursday? The one he said that Houston kept turning down once they thought about it?

Eventually Houston changed their mind because they saw upside in travis and not enough immediate help.
Travis has been in the NBA 4 years and teams are still talking about his "upside" rather than his "immediate help"??? That speaks volumes, doesn't it?

Re: Trade Talk - Jack, Battier

Shocking....

Ballscientist starts a controversial and completely unsubstantitated post, then disappears without making a single response in the post he started....

This doesn't fit his MO at all....

What next? The sun will rise in the East tomorrow? I let go of a ball and it drops to the ground?

Here's what's next - someone just got added to my ignore list. Any guesses as to who it is?

Re: Trade Talk - Jack, Battier

It's not an exciting trade, but I think it's definitely necessary. As someone said earlier, Battier may not be an allstar, but he fills the needs we need on the team. He plays really solid perimeter defense and is (i think) a 45% 3 point shooter.

I'd say Jack/Outlaw for Battier. But then again, I really can't stand Outlaw.
