Draft Hype by Mike Kahn - Intersting Read
Though this was a very well written article by Mike Kahn on the over hype on this years draft. Ought to give us much to discuss until Thursday.

The consensus lottery group for 2007 includes six freshmen — Oden, Conley, North Carolina's Brandan Wright, Washington's disappointing center Spencer Hawes, and Georgia Tech's Javaris Crittenton — plus 19-year-old Chinese 7-foot question mark Li Jianlian.

And Durant, Mr. Lawrence.

Re: Draft Hype by Mike Kahn - Intersting Read
The point is that the draft is over hyped and much of what is being said and expected of these two kids is just over kill. Much like Adam Morisson last year. These kids will bothe be very good but may never reach the lofty expectations set out by many. I hope the one we pick does but.............

Re: Draft Hype by Mike Kahn - Intersting Read
Bill Walton was set off as the best player to ever play the game. Was he? he was thought to bring a dynasty. Did he?? Temper the expectations.

Re: Draft Hype by Mike Kahn - Intersting Read
This is a very strong draft not only because it has Oden and Durant, but also because all the guys who would have came out last year as high schoolers got added into this draft. Thats why last years was so weak.
