Hard to believe that it was just more than a year and a half ago. I guess the last two drafts and the streak has severely altered my view of this team.

I forgot to add, the longest winning streak for a Blazer team that missed the playoffs is 7, accomplished twice. Once by the 1975-76 team (37-45) and once by the 1981-82 team (42-40).

1982-83 Sonics Won 12 Straight and had a 8 game losing streak. They finished 48-34 and had the 4th seed, but lost in the first round of the playoffs.
Your winner is the 1977-78 New Orleans Jazz
They won 10 in a row, but also lost 8 in a row. They actually had one of the streakiest(word?) seasons ever. Check the link. They finished the season 39-43 and missed the playoffs.
Wow very impresive. Thanks. So I guess this is almost a playoff game today. Win today and they would have to make history to not make the playoffs. I'm calling it now we are making the playoffs win or lose.

I googled that Jazz team in quotes and found an article referencing the Blazers streak. It looks like a Celtics also won ten in a row and failed to make the playoffs. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/sport...10544335.shtml
