Re: Al Jefferson is quietly having a great season

Yeah, that Jefferson guy does seem to be playing well. It's too bad the Blazers never had a chance to draft him.

That's the same impression I've had of since he emerged as a legit player in Boston. He isn't particularly fast, doesn't have a lot of hops but bullys his way to the hoop with an array of post moves. Although he makes Zbo look like Steve Nash when it comes to getting other players involved.

I still think they should have gotten a better player back in the KG trade, but McHale isn't known for his genius moves.

Al Jeff is a nice building block, but not a centerpiece. Minny really needs a guard who can take over a game...too bad they let Roy go

Re: Al Jefferson is quietly having a great season

Living here in Minnesota I know that most the people I talk to only talk about Jefferson as being a future player for the T'Wolves. They don't see any other player staying and really contributing to the rebuilding of the team. When the KG trade happened the response was "it finally happened and we lost our best player, but at least we got Al Jefferson."
