Sorry, PBF, but the season is still mighty young, and I am holding back some emotional bankroll for this young team's eventual fall back to earth. The playoffs is a good enough goal for me at this point.

Re: Pssst...
Falling back to earth doesn't mean we're a 30-win team (or worse), though. I mean, we're 18-12 -- last year, we didn't get our 18th win until Jan. 24.
When PBF says the nightmare is over, I think that means the worst is behind us, at the very least. And I would definitely echo that sentiment.

If we win 40% of our remaining games, we finish with 39 wins - hardly a
nightmare especially with Oden/Fernandez/pick coming next year.
If we win 50% of our remaining games, we're back into the playoffs.

Re: Pssst...
We have had some horrendous finishes to seasons the last few years, hopefully this year is different.

Re: Pssst...
In a 82 game season players start slowing down in the second half of the season, but with the Blazers balanced rotation I don't see our team tiring out. Then we win lots of games.

Exactly. In years past, we played 10 men because we had no idea what would work. This year, we're playing 10 men because we know *exactly* what we're doing. Nate's no longer desperate; he has pieces. Now he can be like a chef: a little Frye here, a little Sergio there, a little Jack near the end, a pinch of James Jones... and McRoberts to garnish!
