Love the Atlanta Interview
"Are you kidding me? Everybody on their team can make a jump shot and that includes their coaching staff," Marvin Williams said after his 4-for-13 shooting effort. "I'm surprised [Portland coach Nate McMillan] wasn't out there lacing them up. I mean, dude ... they didn't miss."

At least THIS team isn't claiming THEY had a bad game... I respect a team that gives credit where it's due.

Re: Love the Atlanta Interview
I like Atlanta and hope they can get it together as a playoff team by next season.
When you said "At least THIS team ...", were you saying thats unlike another team? And what team would that be?

Re: Love the Atlanta Interview
No team stands out as a chronic whiner.......
But I do recall many comments throughout this season where the opposing team is suffering an "off" night, not that they have been shut down or match up poorly to the Blazers.
Why? Did I offend YOUR team?

Thanks for the post. I enjoyed both articles in the link. The one on Jack as well. The quotes are priceless coming from a competitor's article.

What? I didn't mention my team anywhere?
Nah I was just asking, I thought it'd be Boston or Orlando.

Are you hanging around our forum to try and catch one of the Blazer fans being a douchebag or something?

I welcome him hanging around our forum. We have an active and exciting forum and one of the best stories in the league this year. Some people are team fans, some are NBA fans and some are both. I think NewAgeBaller is both. And I like having an outsiders point of view on so many of our threads. It gets tiring to hear only from Blazer fans sometimes.
EDIT: It would be different if he just came in here to knock the Blazers or cause a problem, but he adds value to many threads. Even though the two of us have battled on a couple issues.

Re: Love the Atlanta Interview
NewAgeBaller-- for a Heat fan, you spend an awful lot of team in a Portland Trail Blazers forum. We're not in your conference. There is no bad blood between our teams. Are you going to become a Blazers fan for the season? Considering the Heat's season is over?

Thankyou. Um, I'm not a Blazer fan to speak, not like a bandwagon fan
I do like the team though and most of the players on it I'm fine with, and yea ofcourse I'm an NBA fan.

Lol nah, but with the Heat (and the Heat forum) pretty down this season, I've been visiting other boards like the Blazers and Lakers, and this one (and I guess the Lakers board) seem the most active and "enthusiastic"
Also the Riley/Blazers thing caught my interest

Re: Love the Atlanta Interview
I like the Heat as well, but wonder how you guys will keep Wade happy.
Maybe trade him to Portland for Raef, Jack, Sergio, Aldrige our #1 pick, and well...anyone not named Roy or Oden?
I could see the lineup now... Roy, Wade, Webster, Frye and Oden

I also liked the article 'Can anyone figure this out? I didn't think so.'.

The Blazers, by way of contrast, have three point guards, four if you count Brandon Roy, whom Knight deigned not to choose with the fifth pick of the 2006 draft. Instead he took Shelden Williams. Roy played 41 minutes Monday and scored 18 points; S. Williams didn't play a second and could be observed running sprints on the practice court afterward.

Ohh man are kidding...THe heat are wihtout a doubt the worst whiners ever....Joking of course.
Now the Jazz on the other hand have never lost a game, all losses are simply wins have been taken from them by the officials.,
