Nate the Great

Putting the ball in Outlaw's hands instead of Brandon's at the end of overtime is one more reason why Nate's the coach and we're not. Not only was it a great strategic move, throwing off the defense, but it also was gutsy, and it paid off. And because it paid off, Travis will be even more confident, we have another budding go-to player, the team will be looser, there will be less pressure on Brandon, and it will be harder to defend this team late in games.

All in all, I think that was a HUGE move by Nate. Bravo!

Re: Nate the Great

I have to admit it through me off too. Right when Travis got the ball I was just thinking "ok any second now Brandon will run and get a handoff from him." Never happened, but a great gutsy move by Nate, and great on Travis's part on stepping up again when his number is called.

Re: Nate the Great

I'm glad Nate called the play for Travis, since he was so hot. I was grinning when Wheels said Travis was isolated on the last play. I was thinking, "Dang, that's smart." It definitely take pressure off Roy, and gives us a better chance when it comes down to 10 seconds or less in the 4th. We're harder to read when we have two legit game-winners.
