R.I.P to whoever passed in his family. They are in a better place now.
I wonder how we will play without our star.

Yikes. I think it's time to start Travis Outlaw. bench scoring is a nice luxury, but we need production in a big way. playing Travis 25 minutes a night makes zero sense with Roy out.
Blake/Webster/Outlaw/Aldridge/Przybilla. it's our best five players.

I think Outlaw will still come off the bench at PF but will see more minutes overall. We'll start Jack, Blake, Webs, LMA, Joel, I assume. We have no backup shooting guard. Scary. Green might have to play a little. Can we suit up Miles??

Maybe you should realize that some people believe in an afterlife and you shouldn't insult them because of it.

you assume the person that died does. if they don't happen to you're insulting their legacy.

He just said "maybe." It's a valid opinion if not one that many of us agree with.

IMO, it would have been a valid opinion sans the word, "delusional".

I did no such thing, and neither did the poster. He simply stated that he thinks Roy's family member is in a better place now. This is irrespective of whether or not the deceased person believed that.

Please, that's just nonsense. This has nothing to do with anybody's "legacy." It has to do with a total stranger's own view of death. Period.

i was talking about what's socially polite and politically correct. you wouldn't say "he's in a better place" at a secular, buddhist, etc. funeral. i apologize for using the word delusional, but only because it was impolite. it certainly IS my opinion.
if you just want to make it about views of death, you're taking the position that you can be insulted by my opinion but i'm not allowed to be insulted by yours. double standard.

I can't get the link to work, but I take it there was a death in his family?
My best wishes to Roy and his family.
I hope the media shows some respect, and leaves the guy alone for a few days.
