Back from Conseco Fieldhouse
We turned the ball over like a HUNDRED times in the 3rd quarter. And that was the game. Misery. Jack had 9 assists in the first half. That was kind of cool. I cheered them on as loud as I could, as much as I could. Joel acknowledged me at one point. As did Jack, Webster, and Travis. I also shook Webster's hand before the game. That was kind of cool. I also got to talk to HispanicCausinPanic who was there. Got to speak with Rebecca. Was filmed by the Indiana Pacers television broadcast. The fans around me were nice. A few of them recognized me from "Bones." And that's all I can say. Ugh. How did we ever win 13 in a row?
Go Blazers

To be fair, it was James Jones and Brandon Roy who were the leaders when we won the 13 in a row. James shot at an amazing clip and Roy kept everyone calm and in line during the game. Without either of them, we're the Clippers.

Re: Back from Conseco Fieldhouse
You looked like you were having fun tonight in your white jersey ZackAddy, to bad Portland couldn't give us a win tonight, it really shows you how much this team depends on Brandon Roy, he is the glue that holds this team together. It seemed like Portland was content to just shot jump shots and IMO I think that is why we lose more than our fair share of games. To Jack's credit tonight, he started driving to the basket late and was getting rewarded.
This really was a game that Portland should have won, hopefully when Roy meets up with the team things will change a little. This team need the All Star Break and Brandon Roy back.

Re: Back from Conseco Fieldhouse
Thanks HOWIE. I cheered them on as best I could. It was fun to sit that close for the second straight night, but the losing sucks. I think a 1-3 road trip may have been difficult enough even with Roy considering how badly we were playing at home. Tonight's game was our chance for a win and we didn't have Roy which just killed us. The next two will be very hard. If we can get one of them, then we'll go home, get rest, bring back James Jones and go on a run with a game against Sacramento and back to back games against Seattle.

Re: Back from Conseco Fieldhouse
Enjoy it while you can.
I just heard the writer's strike is about settled, and then it's time for you to get back to work like the rest of us stiffs!

Re: Back from Conseco Fieldhouse
When they showed you on KGW it looked like you had plenty of room for other people to sit around you. In fact it looked like the Rose Garden has looked the last four years. EMPTY. How was the arena? It looks very cool to me on tv.
