I believe he would play for the West. If Kobe sits out, he would probably take his place. Otherwise, the team would have 13 players and they would maybe add a 12th and 13th man to the East. Maybe Turkoglu and Ray Allen?

What about Jim Jackson? Those were the three Js- Jim, Jamal, and Jason.

But you really think we would be in the situation we're in, on the verge of contending for the next 10-15 years without Pritchard?
You say he's living off one trade (for Roy), but that's a pretty big trade that changed the entire franchise. That's a franchise player.
You say he's living off luck, well I'll take it then. I'll live off luck with Oden coming in next year. Who cares?
Who would you rather have running the franchise? Do you want John Nash back? Do you want Whitsitt back? OK...

The Blazers won't make a good trade this offseason, they won't even come close to getting that kind of talent and they'll likely have to give up players for nothing in return now BECAUSE THE BLAZERS CANNOT POSSIBLY KEEP ALL THESE PLAYERS. THAT IS A FACT.
So instead trading a bunch of useless players for one star pg Portland will be forced to trade the players away for nothing just like they did with Zach.
Pritchard the Zach trade was pretty poor, but understandable. Missing out on this could be called incompetent.
SCREW YOU KEVIN PRITCHARD!!!!
Pritchard has made one good roster move since taking the job (Roy trade) everything else he's done has been poor or PURE LUCK.
**** YOU PRITCHARD. DO YOUR ****ING JOB!

Ummm lots of big trades happen in the offseason. Weren't Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett traded in the offseason? Those two trades were by far the most impactful trades of the season. Boston went from worst to first.
Travis, Channing, and Jarrett are not useless players. They all have pretty decent numbers, including 14 rebounds. Trading those three for a guy who averages 14 & 5 and over 2 turnovers is hardly worth all three of those guys. Travis Outlaw alone averages 12 ppg and 5 rpg off the bench. That plus his MANY clutch plays during the year isn't worth giving up for a PG who didn't even have better numbers than Jack last season. Get over it. It's over. Devin Harris isn't coming to Portland. And we will be quite alright.
Go Blazers
P.S. If Harris was all you say his is, the Mavs wouldn't have traded him for a guy who doesn't shoot 40% and won't be around in a couple years.

Harris has an unexceptional a-to ratio? Are you stupid? Jack leads the freaking league in turnovers off the bench. Harris is a major improvement in every single last area of life and basketball than Jack.

and if we traded Outlaw/Frye/Jack for him, we would be trading away 14 rebounds for Harris' 2. We're already a terrible rebounding team. We can't afford to make a deal like that.
|
And we'd be trading 10 losses for 10 wins. And crappy scorers and passers for exceptional scorer and passer.
OH AND A FREAKING BACKUP SG FOR A STARTING CHAMPIONSHIP CALIBER PG!!!

Pritchard is living off one freaking trade and the pure luck of the #1 pick
I hate this man right now.

Please stop being a fan of our team then. We have a great young team that is going to grow into a contender. We will be patient and not overreact into looking for a quick fix. The chill the frick out. Seriously. If you dont like Outlaw, Channing, and Jack then, by all means, go become a New Jersey Nets fan. Let's see how that works out for you.

He also got us Rudy. The trade for Roy was huge. As was the trade for LMA.

Jack for Harris is a great deal.
Jack/Frye/Outlaw is a horrible deal.
You can post in bold and in as big a font as you want, but it won't change my mind. Like I said, go root for the Nets. I'm sure Harris will lead them to many championships and you'll have a great time. Go see how that works out for you.
