If you're jumping off the bandwagon, post here.
Then I'll know who you are and when we're rolling again in March, I can look back to this thread and say I told you so.
Go Blazers

Not me. My feet are stapled on this wagon. I am never going anywhere. I don't think I could root for another team even if I moved away from the city of Portland.

I followed them through the ugly JailBlazers era. I like this Studebaker.

If I was never really on the playoff bandwagon does that count?

I've never been off the bandwagon, though I did put my head against the window and take a long nap during the Jailblazers era.
The one thing I'm most "happy" about is that I didn't drink too deeply of the Kool-aid that got passed around in December -- otherwise I'd probably be swimming in the bottom of a bottle of Glenlivet right about now.

Re: If you're jumping off the bandwagon, post here.
Win or lose, I've always been and always will be a Blazers fan. I may b*tch and moan when the team is doing poorly, and complain about what I think are dumb statements or moves by the front office in directions that I don't think are beneficial to the team and winning, but this franchise has their hooks into me and my wallet for life. During the JailBlazers years, I likened it to Battered Spouse Syndrome... where you get abused and abused and abused, but you still come back for more out of some twisted sense of loyalty, love, or whatever. I know that there will eventually be payoff for my pain and loyalty, but it's been a long road from 1977, and I'm not giving up now, when the future is so bright.

Re: If you're jumping off the bandwagon, post here.
I'm off the bandwagon. I think i'll go be a laker fan now.
In truth, I have never and will never be anything but a Blazer fan. I went into this season predicting fewer than 30 wins and as time went on, I thought the playoffs were more than likely. Now, I am rethinking that, I now don't think the Blazers will make the playoffs. But, that really doesn't matter to me much. I really love our Blazers and think that beginning next year the Blazers will be in the playoffs for years to come.
But how much I love our Blazers does not mean that I think they shouldn't change anything. I think we have 5 players that I really want to see grow together and remain Blazers. Oden, Roy, Aldridge, Outlaw and Fernandez. The rest of the Blazers I think have their moments and for the most part, should not be given away, but should be used in the right trades to bring in a couple more high caliber players.

Re: If you're jumping off the bandwagon, post here.
I've been rooting for this team so long that I'm pretty sure I can remember when the first bandwagon was an ox cart.
NBA seasons are full of ups and downs. The Blazers will put together another good string of basketball this season and may even challenge for that last playoff spot...which is exactly what I predicted them to do at the start of the season. Next year....look out NBA!

What bandwagon is this? I have always been and will always be a Blazer fan. I find it highly unlikely that we'll "be rolling in March" though.

We are falling so fast I'm afraid I'll hurt myself if I jump off.

Re: If you're jumping off the bandwagon, post here.
If you're talking about the "playoffs in 07-08 bandwagon", I was never really on it. And I'm still not (no change). It would be nice, but I don't see it as a failure if they don't make it this season. If people are disappointed/angry/suicidal that the Blazers aren't going to make the playoffs this season (they are currently on the outside looking in), they only have themselves to blame (unrealistic expectations).
I'm on the long-term bandwagon. And I like where it's going.

Well technically, if we are falling so fast, you jumping off the bandwagon wont hurt much at all.

Might as well re-title this the "I'm NOT jumping off the bandwagon" because nobody is going to own up to it.
