Good deal for the Kings..time to rebuild. Sheldon is a bust at #5, but may be a banger type of PF, and Anthony Johnson is pretty productive too.

yeah it's not like bibby has a monster contract to deal with like gasol or shaq - just 1 more year at 14m. presumably artest is next to go, then tank city and start rebuilding around martin.

stupid trade for atlanta. if they want jack i'm sure there are 100 ways they can get him without giving up bibby or taking on miles' worse contract. jack has very little value at this point.

Knight has tried to trade for Jack two times before, maybe the third time is the charm?
Even if Bibby doesn't work out for Atlanta, he will still have value this time next year as a valuable expiring contract. Good trade for Atlanta. Didn't have to give up any of their core.

Well.. I should say that Knight was rumored to have traded for Jack before. I know one time was on draft night 2005, Diaw for the rights to Jack was supposedly on the table. And I might be mistaken, but I thought that Portland and Atlanta had some conversations in this past year's draft. I could definitely be mistaken though.
