Re: Josh Smith

Don't get me wrong, I don't want LMA gone, I'm saying that's what I think it would take to get him from Atlanta ... it would almost be considered a lateral move.

I know I said "if I was KP I would probably do it", I think I "misspoke"; If I was KP I'd give it a serious look.

(and yes I do believe that LMA will be the perfect high-post compliment to Oden's low post game, and I also think LMA has yet to fully tap his potential.)

Re: Josh Smith

I like Smith's game a lot. He is a physical freak. More than anything, I worry about attitude issues, as he has butted heads with his coach pretty publicly. He can play the 3 and some time as a smaller 4. I'd love to seem him in a Blazer jersey at anything below the max, and would give up anything but Roy, LMA, or Oden to make it happen. I don't care a ton about our pick this year.

It doesn't really matter, the Atlanta GM said he will match any offer given to Smith.

Re: Josh Smith

Honestly, if guys like Kevin Martin, Devin Harris, Al Jefferson are demanding 9-10 million/year, Smith isn't really that overpriced if you compare him to those deals.

Re: Josh Smith

I read through this entire thread and nobody pointed out the essential point: Josh Smith's contract in a sign & trade immediately becomes a BYC1. It would nearly be impossible to complete a 2 team deal unless nearly 40 million in contracts were moved to absorb the BYC discrepancy.
