Re: ESPN Lottery Machine (yes, it's back)
I spinned it about a billion times until we finally hit the #2 pick and got Derrick Rose. Is he any good? Does he fill any of our needs?

Re: ESPN Lottery Machine (yes, it's back)
I did 50 spins
48 of them we took Westbrook at 13th (never any change)
1 time we took Chase Budinger with the 14th
1 time we took Rose with the second pick.

Re: ESPN Lottery Machine (yes, it's back)
I did it 10 times and everytime we hit on #13 takeing westbrook. I woulden't be unhappy drafting Chase Budinger at around #13 though.

Re: ESPN Lottery Machine (yes, it's back)
I had the 2nd pick on 3 of my 6 rolls, pretty bizarre. Either there's something screwy with the site or I should go out and buy a lottery ticket.

Re: ESPN Lottery Machine (yes, it's back)
I think the top of the draft this year is similar to 06 draft, with some good prospects but not too many, if any, sure things. No Bron or Oden this year. However, I think this will be a very deep draft with quality talent into the twenties. Lots of eventual role players and few stars as I see it.

Re: ESPN Lottery Machine (yes, it's back)
Hmm...
I got the #1 on my 5th try, and it raised a few questions...
1: Would we pick Rose #1 over Beasley?
the answer is not so clear. We could definitely use him, and he is my favorite fit for this team, but...
1a: If we got the #1, and a team like memphis and miami got the #2 and #3(who would probably rather have a big than rose or gordon) would they trade us some VERY nice value for the #1? in order to pick Beasley?
Who Knows.
2: Would we pick Beasley and deal LMA?
if the Grizz got the #2, we could conceiveably deal LMA for the #2 and more and pick up rose. also.
I am definitely planning on winning the lotto again, at least top 2. We are getting Rose.

Re: ESPN Lottery Machine (yes, it's back)
If we somehow magically got Beasley I have no doubt we'd use him as trade bait with a team who has a PG we covet, or we might be able to transform that number one pick into a Rose and another piece. There are enough character doubts about Beasley that I can't see KP taking him.
