Re: Suns @ Blazers Game Thread
to be fair, we couldn't knock down our three point shots and that really cost us.

To be fair, letting them gain a 23 point lead was probably a bit much to spot them.

Re: Suns @ Blazers Game Thread
Should've had James Jones in there earlier rather than Outlaw.. Travis couldn't take advantage of tiny Barbosa on him.
Oh well.. that hole early was just way too much to overcome.

Re: Suns @ Blazers Game Thread
That Jack turnover when we were down 2 and had all the momentum and he overthrew that pass to Jones.... that was bad. Jack still did a lot of good in the 4th quarter though.

Re: Suns @ Blazers Game Thread
I looked earlier at work and saw we were down 19. I was shocked to find us only down 4 when I left. I got home just in time to see us lose. I'm really happy we were able to make a game of it, especially looking at how the game started. Apparently there were some bad calls that I missed. Can't say I'm sorry to have missed those.

Re: Suns @ Blazers Game Thread
Jack 4 turnovers, Frye 11 shots, LaMarcus 3-15 FG, 23-point deficit, 2-15 from the 3-pt line.... ugh.

Re: Suns @ Blazers Game Thread
What happened to our three point shooting? We used to be so good, and now, we can't make any.

Re: Suns @ Blazers Game Thread
Screwed by the bummblebees once again. Despite LA having a horrible game, and being down 23 pts, we should have won this game. That no call on the Shaq goaltend, the "blocking foul" on Jones.....so pathetic.
If I were at the game, I'd hunt little David Stern down and ask him to hire some decent referees, or implement and instant replay system like the NFL has.
Seems like EVERY close game, it's the same story...Blazers fall victim to horrible officiating.

Martell Webster: 0 points, 0-0 FG, 0-0 FT, 0-0 3PT, 0 assists, 0 fouls, 0 steals, 2 rebs, 1 TO.
Man what happened to Webster? Might be his worst game of his career.

Re: Suns @ Blazers Game Thread
There where lots of questionable calls at the end but Channing Frye took some horrible shots at the end of the game as well.

Martell was on the bench at the end of the game cheering the team on and pumping the guys up.
