Jack to the rim with the and 1. That's the Jack that we need, of course, he turned it over the possession before.

He's consistent TONIGHT.
Jack finally does something usefull.
And Roy needs to work on his FT. He's going to go to the line a lot, and he needs to hit them.

Solid win tonight. 31 assists tonight? I'll take that.

Jack had 8 assists and one turnover, but thanks for highlighting the turnover.

He gave us a couple of crappy possesions though. He played smart in the first half, and then reverted back to his normal play in the 2nd. He got the and1, but he also missed 2 other drives in the quarter, which he could have set up a better play.

While his shot has been off the last few games, most of the year he's been pretty consistent especially in the 4th.
I remember though in past years when he would shot a jump shot I'd hope he'd miss so he wouldn't think he could make the shot. I wanted him just to take it to the basket most of the times. Especially when he tried a deep shot. But he has got a good jumper now.

He's 44% on the season, not bad, but I consider him somewhat of a streaky shooter.

I do still wish he'd take it to the basket a lot more instead of settling for a jump shot so much. I think that'd raise is percentage quite a bit.

I wish they could play the TWolves every night. Excellent win, but the Minny totally came apart in the 2nd half when their shots weren't falling.

Re: Game Thread: Timberwolves @ Blazers (3-15-08)
Boy, not many posts about this game. It was one of our best wins of the season. We were playing a team that had won three games in a row on the road. And we were playing to sweep them 4-0. And we did it. The Wolves played well and yet we beat them handily. We actually closed the deal at the end. It's more exciting to beat the better teams in the league but we took care of business in this one.
Go Blazers! If we win out, we have a shot at the playoffs.
