The PG spot is the biggest need for the Blazers...
Who should they be targeting in the offseason? I like Mayo and Westbrook in the draft. Although I think it's important for a winning team to have a good vet PG running the show not some rookie. Maybe with Roy he can do it? You know that the Blazers want in the playoffs next season and I think the same could be said for the fans.

Best options?
Devin Harris, Jose Calderon, and Mo Williams... in that order.

Seriously? The guy blows up for the last week of the season and suddenly he's the answer for this team's PG woes? He's played a grand total of 15 games in his career, started 5 and averages 36% from the floor, 40% from 3 pt range ... definitely not enough of a resume' to be ditching guys from the roster and handing the keys to the kingdom over.

The best option is to address it in 2009 when we have a lot of cap space. Until, we will try out other players WITHOUT doing any drastic roster change.

I wasn't being serious. I was just touting what a great couple of weeks he's had.
However, you can't really take into account his first 7 games. He was given garbage minutes like Sergio and ended up playing poorly.
He also leads all rookies in APG. Obviously, the numbers are blown up because he's only played 15 games, but this guy has seriously shown that he can be a good if not a "star" point guard in the future.

Re: The PG spot is the biggest need for the Blazers...
Sessions cant shoot, cant defend(Duhon went for 22 and 15 against him tonight) and dominates the ball too much. He isnt a good fit next to Roy.
I like his teammate Mo Williams. Hopefully the Bucks FO falls in love with Sessions and puts Williams on the block. He does everything we could want out of a PG next to Roy(Great shooter from mid-ranged and 3, good slasher, has enough PG skills to initiate the break & enough SG skills to play there in the half-court sets with Roy controlling the ball, only 25 years old). He just isnt a shut down defender, but is certainly better than guys like Calderon and Sessions. Also note he will make only 8.8M the year we are set to have cap space, possibly allowing us to still sign a SF(Guys like Deng & Josh Smith will be FA's).
I think he could be had for Raef's contract & one of Outlaw/Webster/#13.

In his defense, no one was playing defense that game.
Mo williams doesn't really play defense either.

Re: The PG spot is the biggest need for the Blazers...
Mo is a good player, but may not be the fit for Portland. He is a chucker that can pass & rebound. His defense is lacking and so is his explosiveness. I really think Portland is better off looking at someone like Duhon. Or Westbrook hopefully.

Re: The PG spot is the biggest need for the Blazers...
No I agree that what Sessions is doing in the past few games is intriguing ... but if anything it means that maybe a proven guy like Mo Williams might become available in the off-season; he's quick, can play off-ball ... the only question mark is his willingness to play D.

Might want to target someone like Devin Harris (to think we almost had him) instead.
