For pointing out how another team finished their season strong, I get personal insults from you? Wow. You are one classy guy.

Too bad the Blazers couldn't have shown as much pride in their final game.

What are you talking about? They played bad, yes...
Do you realize what we had to work with? No Roy or Jack in the 2nd half, no Webster or Pryz or even McBob. Wafer and Sergio were our guys...
I mean, sure, going back to back and beating Phoenix (@ Phoenix) who played everybody for a while would have been nice with what he had to work with... but come on. We didn't just lay down for anyone, the tried, they lost. They were on an emotional high the night before and had a let down.
You think they didn't want to finish strong? You think the coaches didn't want it? ...

If they had really wanted it, Roy would have played in the second half. I'll guarantee you he would have played if we needed the win to make the playoffs. But since we didn't, they opted to have him sit on the bench the entire second half.
We just didn't care that much about beating Phoenix. I don't see how anyone can draw any other conclusion.

Re: Worst game of the year
Did you ever think that maybe Roy was hurting to the point that he felt that he was actually hurting the team more by being out there?
Why does something always have to be wrong with what they did? They played hard with what they had, and made it a close game after phoenix's starters went out... we were playing with our backups also.
No, they didn't go after the game like they would have if a playoff spot was at stake, but they tried to win. Playing for a winning record and a playoff spot is different.
If you are saying that they didn't play like a playoff spot was on the line, then you are probably right. But they didn't lay down, and they played hard and wanted to win. Everybody wanted it, including Brandon Roy.
We accomplished a lot this season, better than anyone could have hoped. It was a great season, it didn't end on the best note, but its not like they layed down purposely...
If anything, I'm more pissed at the fact that we lost to Charlotte and Seattle toward the end of the year, because any of those wins would have gotten us to 42. Oh well... not a big deal. You win some, you lose some. I would be pissed if i felt like they didn't come out at all, and played their backups all game and got blown out by 50, but it wasn't like that.

Actually, it was your post I insulted; I expect very little from everyone on the internet; it's only logical after all, since I know none of you personally. But that post really disappointed me.
And a tip for trying to shame me: I have no sense of guilt online.

Now see, this is a well thought-out, reasonable post. If only Talkhard could have as much pride in his posts.
I'm totally disappointed in his recent performance.

Oh, I get it. You were actually insulting everyone on the internet, and you just happened to use my name. Yeah, that's the ticket!

You don't have to convince us.
