Trade down, then Blazers will make the playoffs next season.
Examples:
Trade up, you get top 5 picks - Durant and Jeff Green.
Trade down, you get 2nd rounders - Landry and Scola
Landry and Scola are very efficient in both defense and offense. Durant and Green are good in scoring, but nothing else. They will need to take away the shot attempts from Oden, Roy and Aldridge.
Think about this,
What will happen if coaches limit Durant or Green for 20 minutes and 6 shot attemps a game.
In order to make the playoffs, you will need to trade down.

Aaah I see, it has nothing to do with guys named McGrady, Yao being on one team, and a bunch of guys saying "Pinch me I'm in the NBA" as the supporting cast on the other.

Man, I have to say . . . I totally agree with DaRizzle . . . FoShizzle!
I've been lurking on here for months and never posted before but felt compelled to post because BS does make some of the dumbest post I've ever seen on this (or any other) forum!
I cringe most of the time I read his posts . . . and cringe ever more knowing he lives in the same part of CA as I do. I'm afraid his incomprehensible basketball "insight" just might ooze out of his ears and infect the rest of the state!
And I guess it'd be kind of sweet to getting a warning myself for my very first post here!
