NBA playoffs thread
The only thing saving this Washington-Cleveland series from being unwatchable is Gilbert Arenas. That guy is worth the price to watch. And I guess any dunk from LeBron James.
Cleveland fans = boring. Just sitting on their hands the whole time. There is no doubt that if the Blazers were in the playoffs, our crowd would be standing nearly the entire time.
And seeing the ESPN segment of a 37-45 Atlanta team in the playoffs makes me sick.

Re: NBA playoffs thread
Now if Washington/Cleveland can continue fighting, THEN it'd be worth to watch.

Watching any east playoffs is a waste of time! The only thing worth watching is Agent 0 killing the Cavs!

Re: NBA playoffs thread
I'm really enjoying the CLE vs. WASH series. I like Butler, Jamison and gilbert, and then i like watching LeBron.
I'm going to enjoy watching DET and BOS dominate their way to the ECF and really enjoy watching them play each other.
The west, on the other hand, eveyr series is going to be HIGHLY competitive (maybe the lakers beat Denver in 5, but still that would be the only non competitive one).
I Love the NBA playoffs! specially this year. The west is the best it has ever been. And the Pistons and Celtics are amazing.. should be awesome!

On to the San Antonio/Phoenix game. Duncan takes forever at the free throw line it is driving my crazy...After the first free throw everytime he goes and grabs the ball from the ref for some reason? Then he stands there forever before shooting!

Re: NBA playoffs thread
Its amazing how much San Antonio complains.
I mean, i know they are the defending champs, but DAMNNNNNNNN...
But at least they aren't complaining while still getting calls like Boston and LA.

Re: NBA playoffs thread
Watching the Orlando vs Toronto series just gets me so much more hyped up to have Greg down in the middle next year. Howard has had 3 blocks in the 1st quarter, 2 of which came when he jumped to block pump shot, landed, then went right back up to block the actual shot at the rim...
It's that kind of athletic defense I can't wait to see on the floor anchoring our team. A good block can lead to a great fast break attack and easy scoring, and Oden was known for blocking it like Russell used to, keeping it inbounds instead of just swatting it into the stands and giving the other team the ball right back.

Re: NBA playoffs thread
Some people may complain about Nate's defensive schemes or lack thereof sometimes, but man.. Denver might be the worst defensive team in the NBA. The Lakers can get any uncontested shot they want.

Re: NBA playoffs thread
hahaha... Laker fans chanting "D-U-I!" with Carmelo at the line when they have Kobe who constantly cheats on his wife. That'll be interesting when they play in Denver.

The Lakers awful D is really on display right now. No way I see they getting any further than the 2nd round.

Re: NBA playoffs thread
It's a crime against the game of basketball that Toronto and Philly are in the playoffs.

I was thinking the same thing until the 76ers stole one from Motown. The Pistons look like they have no energy out there right now.
The Raptors however are a total joke.
