It sucks watching the Jazz win two straight on the road when we were 3-1 against them this season. We also got two victories against the Lakers, Hornets, and Nuggets. Would've been sooo cool to be in the thick of things at this time of the year. I really hope it happens next year.
It does suck, but honestly, i'd rather be in our position than most any team in the playoffs position.

In terms of having Oden and Rudy coming, and where our franchise is right now.
Teams like Denver don't have a shot at the title, or Atlanta, but they are in the playoffs. I'd rather be where we are right now then in their shoes.

Ditto, next season is going to be a lot of fun. It all starts with the draft lottery and hopefully a spot in the playoffs next season, I like our chances.

I also agree with what's been said here. You guys have a young group that finished at .500 and two game changers coming in next season. There's quite a few teams in the playoffs who aren't looking as good as you guys.

Where's the optimism? Do I have to bring back an old thread?
We will simply win the lottery again, then draft Derrick Rose!
No problem, and we couldn't do it if we were in the playoffs this year.

I've been thinking about what if you guys won the lottery AGAIN this season. You would become the most hated team in the league lol.
It would be awesome to win the lottery and the envy around the league would be unreal. Yea, I think I could live with it, but I'm thinking we get the 13th pick and move it. We really don't need to add more young talent from the lottery if they're not named Rose.
I'd hate to have everyone in the league hate us!

Yeah, it would be nice if the hate part came after championships. But I would suffer it if it meant we were top two in the lottery again.
I remember thinking last year when we sent Brandon Roy to the lottery how sick some people should have felt seeing the ROTY representing Portland and receiving congratulations for getting the #1 pick. I think I would have been unhappy if I weren't a Blazer fan.
