The Zach trade was for Frye, Steve Francis and James Jones. Rudy was bought for cash as we had done with Sergio the year before.
I still don't think he's quite the team-crippling person you make him out to be. The knicks had been dysfunctional for quite some time. They don't have a point guard, they had a lame duck coach in a lose-lose situation.
Back to the topic at hand, I think being at the helms of the Knicks organization now that Isiah is out...with a search for a new coach, FINALLY a draft pick this year...is going to be more positive.
There are going to be growing pains, much like the Blazers experienced but that's the nature of the beast.
