I think Phoenix has one more run left in them. They're not done but they won't win a title with the current group.
It'll be really interesting to see how that team does when Shaq and Nash are gone, and they're left with Amare and Barbosa to lead them. That might not look too pretty..

2 more seasons and the Suns will have Shaq and Nash's contracts gone on the same time. They can make a serious play for CP3 if the Hornets franchise is flimsy.

Ugh, no more CP3 getting lured away as a free agent talk.
As for other free agents in 09, it's an overrated class of older players. If they want to rebuild, they should trade Nash and retool their offense to be less run-and-gun.

Thats a bit of a stretch. Nash certainly did meltdown during the playoffs, but he was ineffective because of Bruce Bowen. Bowen spent a lot of time guarding him and he never was able to run that pick and roll with Amare that they run about 100 times a game. Take that away and Nash loses confidence and his shot stops falling.
