OT: WHAM!!! That's the sound of the Phoenix Suns' window slamming shut!
Steve Nash- 11 pts, 3 assts, 5 turnovers
Jack could've done better.
He and Shaq should both retire. It's over.

Mike D is probably packing his office this weekend.
Here's a question: would you hire him over Nate with the team where it is now? He's an offensive guy, and Portland has the horses to run.
Nevermind players! Would you want Avery Johnson or Mike D'Antoni?

If I was KP I'd get on the horn and see what they want for Diaw. I think he could be a good fit as our SF.

I don't think Diaw would fit well with Oden and LA on the same front line. He plays better under the basket. We have two guys that can do that.

Yeah that's true. He is a good passer though, and unselfish. I guess in a perfect world we would have him on our bench. I think we need a defensive stopper who can hit the 3 for our starting SF.

No. Judging by the postseason track records of each, I see no reason to want either of them. Especially in the case of D'Antoni - his style simply does not work in the playoffs.

With all the talk that LMA can hit a 3, but chooses not to shoot them, maby Diaw could fit.
He is an excellent defender, very unselfish and can post up 90% of SF's with very good results. Allow LaMarcus to concentrate on his mid ranged J and shoot a few 3's next season. Might work well. Still, defensivley the trio of Diaw/LaMarcus/Oden would be awesome defensivley.

Zack's logic:
Manu today, 2/11 with 8 points. Manu is done, goodbye Manu, time to retire.
Peja today, 2/12 with 11 points. Peja is done, goodbye Peja, time to retire.
Andre Miller today, 5/17 with 13 points. Miller is done, goodbye Miller, time to retire.

Nash is older than all three of those guys and none of those guys used to be an MVP. Steve has had a HUGE drop off in his game compared to those other three. He's not the top PG in the league anymore. Not even top 3.

Oh, really? Huge drop off huh?
17.4 ppg, 50% FG%, 47% from 3, 11.1 assists, 91% FT%

That wasn't really my point. I just picked out a bunch of players who had off nights. You just always seem judge on the basis of a single game, praising players when they play well, and ridiculing players when they have off nights. In this case, you write off Steve Nash and Shaq because they didn't play well.
You even compare Joe Johnson to (your main man) Kobe Bryant but compare Steve Nash to Jarrett Jack. I'm not saying you're opinions are bad, but even you have to admit your logic is a little on the ridiculous side.

What a boring first round in the west! It`s nice to see the east has a few good series but it`s just not the same. It`s like expecting a diamond back for christmas and getting a chemistry set. The chemistry set is OK but the bike would have been soooo much cooler!
