Are you kidding?
Please tell me this is your idea of a JOKE.
Oden is "unproven" liek Chris Paul was "unproven", like LeBron was "unproven".
He will be good. Real good. The question isn't whether he can make it in the NBA, or will he be a decent starter someday. The question is whether he will be Hall-of-Fame good or not.

No dude...are you kidding? You just put a guy who has never played an NBA in the same sentence and two MVP candidates...get a grip on your homerism, let the dude at least play one game before you proclaim how dominant you think he is going to be

Steve Blake is one of the worst starting PG's in the NBA. There is no way he is average, there are 30 teams in the NBA you think steve blake is a better starter than 15 of them?
I'd say he is worse than every single starting PG in the playoffs with Delonte West being the only close call.

Note the use of the word "was" before you go off. WAS Paul and LeBron MVP candidates before their first NBA games?

I heard from a buddy that their is a minor league team project that allows your average fan to be a part owner. Basically you buy a share and you get to vote on basketball operations. I guess this includes the coach, players and all the other stuff. The website is currently guaging interest in the IBL. It isn't the pros but it still is basketball. Sounds better than running some pointless fantasy team.

Re: Najera?
Oh well then in that case...
Oden is "unproven" like Harold"Baby Jordan" Miner was "unproven", like Kwame Brown was "unproven".
Ya know...just sayin

Not true.
Neither one of those guys had close to the hype of Lebron or Oden.
Nobody tanked the last half of the season to try and get the #1 pick for Kwame.
Multiple teams didn't offer Washington multple-time all-stars (Carmelo, KG, others) for Kwame.
You could draw some comparisons to Ralph Sampson and Bill Walton, both of who had tons of hype but had major injury issues in their careers.

Go away.
Also, Viktor > Najera, neither of which I'd like playing for us next year.

Re: Najera?
Ya know...I knew someone would throw that argument out there. Chris Paul which he mentioned is the opposite then. Viewed as a good draft pick but not mentioned as possible future MVP. What about Darco? Im not saying Oden is gonna be a bust at all, Im just saying the way he is talking he has Oden already penciled in for at least 25/10 for the next ten years

Oden is less unproven than Kwame. At least Oden played 1 year of college.
