While I don't defend Kobe on his life decisions he did not rape anybody, he cheated on his wife, both really lame but big difference.

How do you know he didn't rape anybody? Were you there?

Who cares if he raped someone. He got out of it and that's all that matters.

I root for the team as if I had a jersey on and I was playing on the floor. I suppose that makes me a little unbiased as to the outcome of the game, but guess what? If you aren't, then why root for a team in the first place? Your attitude sounds and smells kinda like a bandwaggoner Laker fans' attitude.
Props for ability on a basketball court does not override being a complete douchebag off the court. And yes, the "JailBlazers" era soured my enthusiasm for the Blazers themselves, but I tried to do something about it, via the Fan Advisory Board, which was a complete waste of time. You better believe that among my suggestions to Patter/Nash was getting rid of the idiots.
LeBron is a class act who actually appreciates the effort of the players around him that obviously don't have the talent and skills that he has. He doesn't ***** and whine to management and the media about players on his team not stepping up. Also, I doubt LeBron has raped anyone.
Well, how can you?

My allegiance to this team should NOT be questioned! I grew up with this team from the 70's 'til now! I just find it ridiculous that you can't at least acknowledge a players greatness just because he doesn't play for our team. And just for the hell of it.........I thought this "class act" as you call him, LaBron, was busted for driving over 100mph after a game. Very classy!
That's besides the point. I'm the type of person that if my Blazers are beatin fairly by another team, and it was a well played game, I'm content. I have passion for my team, but I also have passion for THE GAME itself.

I don't care who a player plays for, if he has game, I'll give him props! (For you old white people out in the suburbs...HAP, that means respect!) Just because he plays for the Lakers, come on! It is very close, but i believe Kobe is the best player in the game. Had LaBron won it, I don't think I could argue with that either. Let's open our eyes up a little bit more, and give players the proper credit they deserve.
O.K......here it comes......"How can you call yourself a Blazer fan and like Kobe....BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!!"

I'm a huge basketball fan, not just Blazers. I hate Kobe, not for the fact that he's good and plays for the Lakers. Its the way he presents himself on the court. He's a cocky son of a ***** and thinks he deserves everything. He could learn a thing or two from Chris Paul and Lebron James about how to be star without being a pompous A-hole.

Because its rape. If it was family member and he got out of it would it matter?

A tad defensive? Maybe I hit too close to home? Hispanic, I really don't want to fight with you, okay? I'm sure you are a great Blazer fan from way back, we just very strongly disagree on this.

B.S. Wilt was a great player. Jordan was a great player (even though I despised him during his Bulls days). As painful as it is to admit, Magic, Kareem, and Worthy were great players. Bird was a great player.
None of them were arrested and charged with rape, and then bought their freedom. None of them.

When he's arrested for rape, you'll have a point.

Re: Mvp Kobe!
Paul only had 17 pts & 13 assts tonight. Another "dismal" effort according to DaRizzle, lol.
Seriously dude. Learn the game. Ask the Spurs if Paul was dismal tonight.

Oh yeah, I forgot the post season has jack **** to do with the regular season. Please give me more things that happened that has nothing to do with the award. You did know they already turned in the votes right? Your arguments are so weak all the time. Your previous rebuttal was hogwash too. His stats were down, did I say he wasnt good? He did not perform like he did for all of the season in the last month. He didn't suck, just not an MVP ending to a season.
Im sooo over your insanity. Certain POR members give you a free pass on your ignorance/troll tactics because you are on a TV show. Everyone is entitled to opinions but you go way over the top with your BS antics of proclaiming 15 different players the greatest player in the NBA, your insulting "checkmate" crap you pull when you cant come up with anything close to a reasonable response (I actually see that you did that exact stupid thing while Im writing this). Its so awesome when you use the stats of one game for comparing player A to player B and then the next two pages are people asking if you are serious or not...Im sure everyone enjoys it.
Im sure Ill get ripped by some for this, but I know many agree
