Fisher probably retires after another year, so Lakers will be looking for a young vet PG either this summer or next. Bryant has at least 2-3 MVP-type prime season left starting next season, and another 3 good years after that. Anyone who thinks they can predict exactly where their team will be more than 5 years into the future is kidding themselves. No player is a certainty, as any superstar can demand a trade, suffer an injury, etc.

I am not sure what EHL thinks, but I know that Fisher moved to LA so his daughter could be treated there, but then ended up switching to facility in New York. I don't see Fisher wanting to play in New York, but I could see him retiring so that he can move there and spend all his time with his family.
