Since 1992 the Blazers haven't...
had ONE player named to the All-NBA first, second, or third teams.
On average a franchise should have a player named at least every other year, since there are 15 members of the All-NBA teams and 30 (or less) teams.
Hopefully 2009 will be the year to change all of that!

That's a tough club to get into! One of the top 15 players in the WHOLE league!

I don't like how All-NBA teams are limited by position. I liked it better when positions didn't matter.

Yeah, but we had some really good teams during those years! We were killing teams that had players on those all-league teams. I'm O.K. without having guys on those teams as long as we are playing well.

That's not true since the players are the same every season. It's not like Kobe makes it one year and then one of the Bobcats makes it the next year. And some teams have more than one player named. Having one of the Top 15 players in the league is not something every team can claim every other year. LeBron makes it every year. Not every other year.

Re: Since 1992 the Blazers haven't...
There's only one award that matters to me... an NBA championship! All-NBA teams mean nothing.. though I'm sure Brandon will be on it soon, possible Greg or LaMarcus some day.
