The final game of the ACB regular season was played this afternoon, DKV lost to Pamesa, PAM 85-DKV 76.

Rudy played 28 minutes: 11pts (2/5 2pts, 1/7 3pts, 4/4 FTs), 3 rebs, 3 ast

Not his best outing

But in positive news Rudy was named to the ACB's 'Quinteto Ideal' (That's the ACB's equivalent of the All NBA 1st team). He was the only player to be unanimously selected, receiving a perfect 100/100 in the voting.

Next up are the ACB playoffs, DKV is the #2 seed and has earned a matchup against Akasvayu Girona, that's Marc Gasol's team and the same team DKV beat handily to win the ULEB Cup earlier this year.(Gasol is probably Rudy's #1 competition for MVP of the ACB this year as well)

Awesome that he was unanimous for the 1st team.

Never seen him shoot 1/7 from 3. Oh well. Watch him ball it up in the playoffs and hit 40 once.

The playoff schedule for the ACB is two best of three series and a final 5 games series.

The playoffs start May 15th, and DKV's series against Girona starts the 16th with another game on the 18th and one on the 20th in case they split the 1st two. The latest the ACB playoffs schedule goes is up to June 8.

In the ACB regular season DKV and Girona split the series 1-1. Rudy shot over 50% from 2's and 3's and only missed 1 FT in both meetings combined, but Gasol played very well in both contests as well averaging a double double. But this is the same Girona team that DKV handled in the ULEB Cup final game, so I'm pretty optimistic about DKV advancing.
