Ime is is a good place right now and I couldn't be happier for him. I was touched reading about his life while he was a Blazer. Talk about paying your dues . . . I forget the figures but I think he was making less than 30K a year, riding around on buses while never letting go of his dream.

He got his dream (playing in the NBA on a minimum contract), proved himself and signed a multi-year contract for more money than he probably ever imagined . . . and again it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

He didn't fit in the Blazers plans, but I'm guessing he appreciates the opportunity the Blazers gave him as now he is playing (and contributing) on a team that has a chance to win the title. On top of that, I think players get bonus money for playing in playoff games, and for Ime that bonus money probably isn't pocket change.

I agree. He was a great community guy, but I dont miss him on the court at all.

He missed badly on 2 huge shots in the final minutes of last nights game. OUCH!

He also made big shots against New Orleans to help them win the series against New Orleans. A couple missed shots during Game 1 isn't enough to change my opinion of him.

Yeah, he's not rusty from lack of play, he just can't shoot. That's how I remember him. Let's check his 3FG% last season.

Also, see his adjusted FG% in the right column. He would have been several times as effective as Webster this season as starting SF.
