We've actually got two first-round picks this year--Oden and whomever we pick at 13!! Is that crazy, or what? We are going to be so good next season it's ridiculous. Just imagine: we're adding Oden (the best big man to enter the NBA in a long time), Rudy Fernandez (the best player in Europe), and the 13th pick in a very deep NBA draft!! Add those three guys to an already good team and you've got magic, baby!!!!

I don't think we need to add a "veteran" to this team. Roy and Aldridge will be a year older, and Roy plays like a veteran anyway. He's one of the steadiest and calmest guys in the league. His leadership is perfect for this on-the-verge-of-greatness team.

Shouldn't it be "Three Lottery Picks"? Oden, Fernandez (would be top ten by most estimates) and #13. Has anybody had three lottery picks in one draft?

Well technically, Rudy wasn't a lottery pick last year.

(But I know, according to Blazers he would be a lottery pick this year . . . I said technically )

As others have already mentioned, I too see it as the equivalent of 3 lottery picks.

And Rudy is not the runaway "best" player in Europe. He didn't even win MVP of his league, Marc Gasol did.

As far as adding Oden, Rudy and #13, I hope we either trade up in this draft to snag one of the blue-chippers (roughly top 8), or package the #13 to trade for an upgrade at PG or SF.
