Re: The Kobe Fawning

I actually want the Lakers to win this year. I'm not a big fan of the East Coast Celtics..... call me crazy..but I just want to see a good game.

Then Jordan didn't follow the system either. Any qualms with him? Oh, that's right. You like Jordan as a person, so you like him as a player.

He cheated on his wife. It doesn't make him a terrible person. It just means he made a terrible mistake; a mistake that many many pro athletes have made before, including MJ. Kobe just got called out bigtime on it. Waiving off a screen doesn't make him a bad person, either. The fact of the matter is that none of us know what he is like as a person because none of us know him. Therefore, watch him play basketball and shut up.

Agreed dude... I bet half of the league cheats on their wife... they just don't get the allegations against them that Kobe got.. The court provided evidence that she was a slut and had two other fool's semen in her panties when they investigated... Come on there's no way he raped her.. Come to think of it thats pretty gross dude Kobe shouldn't have stooped that low, but anyways.. Barkley, MJ, both HUGE gamblers, does it make them worse basketball players? No. Just like whatever Kobe does off the court, is off the court. Who gives a ****, it doesn't affect whether or not he plays well on the court, and what he does on the court is pure magic. Why can't people just embrace the fact that we are watching one of the greatest players to ever play the game and just leave it at that?
