Anyone know when the NBA allows teams to start trading again? Is it as soon as the finals end or a certain date? Thanks in advance.

I believe trades can start again on draft day immediately following the first pick.

Any team not in the playoffs can begin trading, but the deals can't be finalized until draft day.

I remember the Telfair to Boston trade broke either the day before the draft or the morning of. Of course, that might have just been the news being broke, and it may not have been official until draft time.

Yeah, i think you are correct. Teams can agree in principle to a trade well before draft day, however it cannot be 'officially' finalized until draft day.

I completely agree. With only two (ok maybe 3) clear cut potential superstars and a whole lot of really good quality players it is going to make for an exciting draft.

I can't remember ever seeing so many different mock drafts having people projected to go all over the place (ie one having Love going #3 and another having him at #15/16). Figures to be a crazy night!

For the last few years I know that some trades have been made early in June, including last year, so they can happen before the draft. It's probably okay once the NBA Finals are over or something like that.
