That's what I thought at first too, but the more and more I think about it, maybe Detroit would agree to a swap of Tayshaun Prince for Outlaw, Przybilla and the 13th pick.

That's a deal I'd have to think long and hard about ... it seems a little lopsided in the Piston's favor, but if they threw in their late first rounder I'd pull the trigger.

That would be extremely tempting. I don't like an Oden/Frye/Aldridge big man rotation though. I think we'd need to get another C. (Diop?)
But, I'd still pull the trigger regardless.

Re: Prince!
I'd love Tayshaun Prince here. He'd be the prototypical fit here at SF. Young enough, can play D and hit the 3! Go get him KP!
Of course at the right price... But damn, that'd be a great trade if we could get him somehow.

No way. Outlaw and the 13 would move us up to around #7-8. I would rather take my chance on a new guy then Prince for Joel,Travis and the #13.
I would think the bucks would trade #8 and Simmons or Mason for Travis, and Raef and #13. We need Joel to back up Greg and give us depth with 6 more fouls.
I would think Memphis will be willing to swap picks for less than the above listed trades. We may have to include a 1st rounder next year or in '10.
I am all for trading our 2nd rounders in for a late 1st from teams like Houston,San Antonio or Detroit and package it with our 13th to sweeten the pot.

Wow, that would be a trade I would really consider if I were a GM, from both sides. Prince is no doubt the best of the players in that deal, but Outlaw is not that far behind, Joel is a terrific back up Center or decent starting center, and the 13th, well, we really don't know yet how that will pan out. But, I think, because the Blazers are so stacked with extra talent, I think I would pull the trigger.
You made a really good trade proposal because I think it helps both teams, but neither side would really feel like they got a great deal.

Yeah because I was saying prince was better than Roy and Oden ! Ever heard of reading comprehension? Jesus you honestly don't understand Detroits predicament then. Why trade Prince who was our best player in the playoffs when you can trade an older player like Sheed, or Billups? I was saying you will have to give up a ton for us to even consider giving you Prince. Oden, or Roy is the only two players we would consider off your roster. Outlaw would be an ok addition, Joel wouldn't really help us, and depending on who is available at 13 they may or may not help us. Not saying Prince is better than Roy or Oden but he is the one I think is untouchable at this point out of our starting 5.

Re: Prince!
You'll have to give up Aldridge, or enough pieces to equal his value (more than Outlaw + Pryz + #13 - Joel isn't really even needed in Detroit). I'd think Detroit would want to give up any of their players before Prince. Him and Stuckey are supposed to be their young core.

Re: Prince!
I really doubt Prince is on the block as he would be the most likely player they keep and build around. That said Prince's stats don't tell the whole story because he is a 3rd/4th option with Wallace on the Pistons. He spends most of the game chasing the other teams best offensive player and can guard 3 positions game in and game out. I agree that Roy, LA, and Oden are too high of a price for Prince. Outlaw isn't close to being on Princes level defensively, they are pretty simular offensively

Re: Prince!
I just don't see any reason for the Pistons to trade Prince for Outlaw and 13th. Out of their roster, Prince is probably their most secure player due to his age.
The only way the Blazers can get Prince without giving up their big 3 is if they somehow move up the draft into the top 10 and then offer a package to the Pistons that include the top 10 pick. As it stands now, unless they give up Aldridge (let's face it, Oden and Roy are untouchable), theres no way for the Pistons to consider anything else.
